“I am a tampon fan, but after one of my friends had a Toxic Shock Syndrome, I decided to look for alternatives. I really wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I have to say it's awesome. I sleep with those and I have complete faith in them. I do have a very light flow, but for me it's the perfect alternative to a tampon. Just re-ordered one!”
“I've tried many different types of sanitary products, when I started my periods (about 30 years ago), the sanitary towels were tied to your underwear and we're bulky and horrid, tampons and other liners just created a pile of rubbish every month and the cups I just didn't get on with. I ordered one pair of these pants thinking I wouldn't get on with them, I thought they'd be messy, smelly and uncomfortable...... OMG! I was so wrong! Comfy, absorbant, all moisture locked away so no smell and easy to rinse out, dry overnight and you're good to go again! Yes, it might seem like a lot to pay out at first but I loved not putting ANYTHING in the bin, not having to worry about leakage and not having to spend money every month on sanitary products. GO FOR IT!!”
“Life changer! The product is great, captures everything you need it to well...capture. Modibodi removes the "feeling like you have a diaper on" every month feeling. I even went to bed in them without p.j's (sorry for the TMI) but that's just how comfortable they are. Not bulky or bulging, and exactly like normal knickers that make you feel protected. I only made it lose a star because of the price. My cycle is roughly 5-7days a month. Ideally you want one for everyday of that cycle. It would be way over a £120 for the necessary pairs. 5 for £60 would be steep but so worth it. I just unfortunately can't afford more, especially as I don't know if they will wear. If they lasted a year they would be roughly four times more than my £3*12=£36 pack of pads. The additional cost of £30 or so would be fine for the eco -friendly nature of the product and great feeling they give. Unfortunately this is double the price and the period tax here is too much, won't be buying more till they come down in price - such a shame!”
“I’m yet to test these out with my high flow because I’m glad to say for this month it’s stopped but at the end of my cycle it was completely efficient but I have to say I’m very impressed with the quality & fit of the knickers .”
“I've been looking for a more ecological solution to my period for a while. I've tried reusable pads before but they were bulky and uncomfortable. These however are perfect: super comfortable and really absorbent. I don't usually wear high waisted undies but found these really lovely. I highly recommend.”
“Only used for 2 days of my period as I ordered late in the cycle (arrived very quickly!). So far so good. After thoroughly rinsing the items, I just included in a regular wash cycle - let's see how they go being washed at 30 degrees. Still getting my head around just wearing underwear, but think it'll be the way forward!”
