“I have been using Modibodi ‘period pants’ for about six months for their intended use and love them for that BUT I ordered these to customise into face coverings: the absorbent inner soaks up the moisture in my breath, the waterproof layer that prevents leaks in more ‘normal’ use provides a moisture-resistant barrier, and overall they are as comfortable in this context as in any other. I’ve made two ‘face covers’ out of each pair with the use of a sewing machine and some elastic for straps.”
“I have always been skeptical about period pants. You know, the whole walking around in a whole squidgy pile of your blood thing. But these are perfect. They are comfortable, in the cutest colours (I actually look forward to getting to use all my different period undies!) and so much less messy than messing around with pad changes every hour +/ tampons. If I'm particularly heavy, I'll use a tampon + overnight absorbency pants for during the day.
If any of you have had problems with leaking in the night - these changed my life. I used to have to wear nappies, but now I can wear these pants and not feel like a grandma!! It sucked having to wear those with my boyfriend, ahaha :)
Warning: the mandarin is A VERY BRIGHT orange. may seem obvious to some but not for me! It would be nice to see colour examples for the mandarin and the raspberry - the raspberry is a lovely pinky shade, and not too burgundy, as I was afraid! Please bring the other colours back in stock ;)
Beware with letting these dry on the heater - i burned the crotch of one of my pairs. So let them air dry in peace!
