I have heavy periods and a few months ago I bled through my tampon, through my knickers and all over my trousers so I brought these as a back up, but after using them I've stopped using tampons and towels completely! I feel so fresh all day, these knickers don't stick to you like sanitary towels do and they aren't thick like washable pads I've tried but even on heavy days I know I'm protected. I ran a marathon last month and came onto my period early, I was gutted but knew I'd be safe with my modibodi and i was. I've got about 6 pairs now! It's better for me, it's cheaper as I'm not buying sanitary products, it's better for the environment as I'm not throwing sanitary products away and there is no risk of bleeding all over my trousers again! When my girls come on their periods in a few years I'll defiantly be giving them modibodi knickers instead of old fashioned and wasteful tampons and towels.
