Classic Bikini Heavy-Overnight Black Black / 04/3XS / Heavy Overnight Reviews

I've been wanting to switch to a more eco-friendly product for ages! But I was a bit scared of using the cup. I've been using disposable pads for the longest time because I got fed up of having to "dam" myself up with tampons. I hated seeing how much plastic waste there was every time I had a period (plus let's be honest, it's very messy and not the prettiest odour). I have had these pants for one period cycle and I love them!! First of all this is the comfiest period I have ever had in my life, there is no discomfort AT ALL (cramps excluded). They are soft and the padded parts of the pants go all the way up the back so I never felt like there was any danger of leakage (and there was none!) The first 2-3 days of my period is pretty heavy so this was excellent to see. And despite what you might think, there was a lot less mess than I experienced wearing pads which was amazing because I would wear one pair for the whole day! And the period odour was much improved! As per the instructions you wash them in the sink before using the washing machine (hand wash only), and I know that might seem a little "gross" to you if you aren't used to being as hands on with your period, but I think it was really good to get back in touch with something that is natural, after all, despite the way society can make you feel sometimes. I actually pre-clean all of my underwear now because I find they wash better that way and so have a longer life! I 100% recommend this product and I am glad I spent the money on the 5 pair bundle. I didn't buy them for a long time because of the cost, but it is worth the investment. Not just for being eco-friendly, but also because we should be able live comfortably, periods or otherwise.

I tried different brand period panties before, but this are a game changer! Super soft, super comfortable and no leaking. Love them. Will buy more for sure.

It took a while, and a lot of research, before I decided to go for it and purchase "period pants"! The concept seemed good, but whether it worked and the cleaning process was a new learning curve after decades of tampon use! But I was sick of the effort it all took every month, the dryness they cause and upset of the PH balance etc, so after yet another tampon-induced bacterial infection I thought enough is enough, we're going au naturel! The cups weren't for me, I no longer wanted to be placing things "up there" to not know of its on the right place, leaks etc... I got the classic bikini (Heavy/overnight) and the seamless bikini (moderate/heavy). I'd say my flow is heavy for a day and medium the few days after until it tails off. But to be honest I didn't really know exactly. But the classic are super comfy and having the "pad" all the way up on the Heavy ones is reassuring. I will also say that the sizing is snug - although you want them fitted! I'm an 8-10, and ordered an 8/XS as normal they were rather tight at first but gave after a wash/wear. If I had got a 10/S I think I'd be pulling them up/leaking after a while maybe. Day one came and I had to work all day, not going to lie I could have caved and just used a tampon for security. But I didn't, I went for it...and let it flow! I was terrified! It was strange to get used to that feeling again, I guess if you use sanitary pads you'll not be bothered by it! I kept wanting to check my clothes for leaks everytime I felt it but everything seemed dry. When I next got a break I ran to the toilet to find..... nothing! No leaks, no marks or stains. Everything "liquid" had seemingly disappeared into the black lining, all that was there (sorry TMI!) was a bit of what I can assume was a clot except it was dried out and pink as all the blood had gone. So I wiped that up, and myself and skipped on my merry way! Totally delighted that they'd worked. To be honest it felt kind of freeing, liberating almost, that I had to do nothing but put a pair of pants on like every normal day. Not the most glamorous pairs, but still. No faff. No fuss. No worry about forgetting tampons or not being able to change them regularly. Just freedom! My next task was to rinse them out that evening, which I did while I had a shower. It was a bit gross - ringing out bloody water - but didn't take long, then I threw them in with my usual wash load. Done. Fresh pair on for bed. So to anyone debating this or scared like I was, I say just go for it! You won't look back!

Really comfy and true to size..they seem big in the post but they fit well. Couldnt wear on their own as they only lasted 3 hours in bed before i bled through them on my heaviest day. Great to wear as support with tampon or cup though and no chafing when you hike in them.

First time trying period pants and the difference using them in comparison to pads and tampons is amazing. Comfortable, secure. I never want to go back. I would say whilst they remain secure, no leaking, they do stop absorbing after a while in heavy flow, so for me they’re not 24hr, only 12hr before changing.
