“Saying "so much better than expected" sounds rather negative, but I must be honest and admit I was expecting the underwear to feel bulky and less comfortable than regular underwear... and I was okay with that, I was willing to sacrifice comfort in pursuit of less waste.
But I was wrong. These are seriously comfy knickers! More comfortable than some of my everyday undies! Needless to say I am impressed and coming back for more.
I am using my new ModiBodi's as backup to my menstrual cup, which I am quite happy using but have never been able to achieve leak free use and so require panty liner back up for the first few days of heavier flow. I also experience quite heavy discharge at other times but prefer not to use a cup for that. I have been using reusable cloth panty liners for a couple of years now and prefer them to disposable from a waste perspective, but even my best ones lose points on the comfort rating (they move, sometimes bunch up, etc).
ModiBodi to the rescue. Price means it will take me some time to build up my stash of modi's to see me through a cycle with spares, but I am happy to make that investment.
