“Exactly what I was looking for. It’s surprisingly hard to find period underwear where the gusset is long enough so that if I lay on my back I’m not concerned about leakage. I’m in the US which sucks as these are pricy and you have to pay for shipping. So I decided to buy three pairs so I don’t have to pay for shipping and get the best bang for my buck. I did a bit of math and for what I pay per period on pads is about equal to or slightly more than the cost of these underwear. The briefs are more comfortable than the boy shorts but I want to note that compared to other boy shorts I’ve tried these fit amazing. Most boy shorts ride up and don’t cover my bum, these don’t move that much and are quite comfy. On absorbency, these don’t seem to absorb as quickly as a regular pad, it’s not a large difference and I’m sure I’ll get used to it but an initial thought. I’m fairly confident on wearing them by themselves. I wore them on my first day which is one of my heaviest days and no leaks. I’d really recommend these to people just starting, much more comfortable and secure than a bulky pad and not as intimidating as a tampon can be.”
“This was my first time trying period underwear ever and it's one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was scared I would be disappointed but they were amazing. I slept with them overnight for my first time and there were no leaks and I felt dry in the morning. This was day 2 of my period ... one of my heavier days. They were soft and the lining didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The fit was perfect but just an fyi it's kind of high-waisted. The waistband sits above most of my jeans (midrise). So if you're not into that I wouldn't get these. You can see the outline of the underwear if you wear skinny jeans but thats expected. Just wanted to mention that for anyone who might be curious. Overall these were great!”
