I severely misjudged how heavy my flow is. I’m on the pill so don’t have very heavy periods but did not want to be changing underpants at work (the nature of my work means that changing and then carrying used underpants is rather difficult). This was also the main reason I wanted to use period underpants - I can’t always guarantee access to a toilet to be able to change tampons or pads on time. So when I saw that these were suitable for 24 hours use, I jumped in and bought some. I do not need this much absorbency! I could get by with light-moderate, maybe heavy for one day, but certainly not these. Due to the absorbency level, these are thicker (though they don’t show through clothes) and I found they can get a little warm especially at the back panel, which, because they’re absorbent, isn’t a huge issue if you sweat but the warm patch can still feel a little weird.
These would be great for heavy flow, but if yours is lighter, know that you could still wear the heavy-overnight for 24 hours (which I do).”
