I went with the black hi-waist thinking it would give me good coverage and be comfortable. I know the last thing I want to wear at that time of the month is a skimpy brief!
Wasn’t too sure about the recycled aspect of the fabric but it was still quite good quality. They did have a chlorine smell to them already though which I don’t know if it was due to the recycled nature.
I still wasn’t too confident to wear these pants on their own (especially as I needed to wear them early on in my period and they are only designed for lighter days). So I wore them as a backup with a tampon to give me the added confidence of not staining my regular bathers. I’m not sure how they work underwater to prevent any leaks, absorb the period yet not absorb the pool water??? So I cannot comment on the absorbency feature.
Happy to have these as a backup in emergency situations when I need to be in a pool or at the beach.”

Didn’t need to worry at all - spent almost 3h in a public pool, half swimming, half relaxing in the water, and not a single leak (moderate/low flow). To be honest, forgot I was even wearing them. I am normally size 10/S but have a bit of belly/waist fat, so was considering going a size up. A lovely customer service representative suggested sticking with the same size as my regular period undies, and she was right. They provided good coverage and were very comfortable. Didn’t feel like period swimwear at all. Hope they last well (my regular period undies have so far).”
