“I've got a few pairs of Modibodi period underwear in the traditional cotton cuts. I was really looking for a Moderate-Heavy absorbency and these seam free were the only available.
Like a few other reviews mentioned, they were initially tight, but moulded to my body pretty quickly. They look cute on, and for the first wear were super comfortable. After washing as per instructed, I found they had stretched around the butt and legs and I didn't feel super confident they wouldn't move throughout the day. As a consequence I spent a lot of time worried about leakage.
I am in between sizes though and perhaps a size 10 would have been a better choice for the seam free (though I by no means have a small butt or legs). Hoping that ModiBodi will introduce a Mod/Heavy absorbency in their other styles.”
Hi Katherine, so sorry to hear that this has been your experience with us! It seems to me that a size down could definitely work for you however I'll pass along your feedback on this to our team as well. Also, we may be working on a moderate-heavy in another style ;) If you'd like any further assistance with sizing, please don't hesitate to email us at info@modibodi.com and we can help x
“I love the colour. I have other Modibodi underwear which I love in size 10 but I got the seam free ones in size 10 also and couldn’t get them much past my knees without fear that they would break! And I bought two pair I would totally recommend the bikini and sensual high waist underwear but can’t give these a true review because I couldn’t use them .”
Hi Maddie, our Seam free range uses heat fusing tape on the legs and waist instead of elastic. This is what gives the smooth, no VPL finish. Because of this, they may seem quite tight when putting them on for the first time. We recommend giving the waist a little stretch before trying on to activate the tape. You may need to shimmy your way into them, but once on, they will stretch out as you wear them! Please wash them first though - this activates our absorbency xx
