The MAGICSNAP CABLE CHAIN + WIRE MANAGEMENT KIT includes six "channels" that attach with adhesive strips. I would like to not have to permanently attach these channels to the legs of the desk, why don't they have cool strong magnets (in addition to the adhesive) like the rest of the components in this wire management kit?”

We understand your concern regarding the permanent attachment of the channels to the desk legs. The chain has magnets to connect to the frame and lowerest leg segment. The other parts of the kit are intended for attaching running cables underneath your desktop so they don't have magnets. The idea is to run them from the grommets into the cable tray and/or from the grommets to the cable chain.

“Yeah, you can do without this. You could use zipties or any manner of cord management. That said, this is a super easy, well-thought-out serpentine belt that will keep your cords under control. It works well with the desk and looks better than dangling wires with zip ties. A must buy if you're picky about cables.”
