“I like it except that the corners are open and therefore light gets in and my dog can see me walk by. I have to put a blanket over it which kind of defeats the purpose.”

“Company was disappointing when they fixed crate covers that came several inches too long for my standard Midwest crates. They were hemmed with a thread that was completely mismatched from the crate cover itself. Lazy. They were made with white, use white. Unacceptable. Too high of a price point for this. Look elsewhere.”

Hi Amy, We’re sorry to see your negative review come through after working with you on a fix for your issue. Unfortunately, wire crates vary in dimensions across brands and models. We try our very best to make our size chart available on all pertinent pages. You can find it on the category page and the product detail page, as well as under our Customer Service menu. Crate covers can be tricky to size properly, so we always encourage our customers to measure their crate and compare those dimensions with our size chart before ordering. We offered you a free alteration, plus free shipping back to you, to make the crate cover fit perfectly. This requires extensive work to remove all the stitching, cut the panels, and re-apply the piping. Yes, the inside serged hem is a different color thread (a light yellow) because it is rarely ever seen and this color offers the best value for it’s purpose. We would never use a glaring color that would be obvious from even a few feet away. From your photos it appears once a bed or pad is inside the crate you won’t be able to see the bottom hems at all. We’re sorry you’re not happy being able to see the vertical hems, depending on how those panels drape. However, we don’t appreciate you calling us “lazy” or saying our quality control “seems very lacking.” The work put into these free alterations was exemplary and we’re very proud of the sewers we’ve chosen to work with. “The crate cover is really cute, but I thought the color was graphite (meaning dark gray) but really it looks more black or navy than gray. Other than that I like it. It's very high quality material.”
