“Bed duvet itself is nice but they purposely make it a size where you have to buy a Molly Mutt insert. Very unaffordable and proprietary. Customer service sucks and you can’t get ahold of anyone by phone. They sent a wrong item also which they did make right by email but what an incovenience. Love this concept but hate everything about this company.”

The correct item is on the way to you, and you are very welcome to keep the incorrect item at no cost for your personal use or to donate to a rescue or foster care of your choice - as you wish. It is true that we make our wool-inserts the same size as our dog bed covers - it would be silly and very inconvenient for our customers not to do so. However we don't force anybody to buy one of our wool-filled inserts - in fact our company was founded in 2009 on a concept that uses no dog bed insert - only the unused soft items you in your own home such as pillows, blankets, comforters, sleeping bags - even clothing that might otherwise end up in the landfill. Thank you for contacting us! Have you tried putting an old t-shirt, or other soft item that has the scent of your dog's favorite family member inside the duvet? The familiar scent calms and comforts your dog, and can overcome whatever else might be inside your duvet that is creating some reluctance.

“I love this cover & so does my dog! It is sturdy but soft & my German shepherd mix’s fur does not stick to it. I just use a whisk broom in between washings. Big improvement over the cheaply made ‘faux fur’ covers.”

“The cover is great for my American Bully. He is hard on beds and this cover is very durable. I like that I can just throw it in the washer. I would definitely recommend!”

“I ordered this bed cover after receiving the same cover in another color; I liked it so much that I turned around and ordered this one for a bed that had seen better days. I love the color and the fabric is heavy-weight and I think will withstand the rough treatment that my dogs will put it through. I love the fact that I can use this for my existing beds (I hated the thought of throwing them away even though they looked terrible) and give them a longer life. I also love the fact that the bed is organic. I'm so happy I found Molly Mutt.”
