“We now have accountability for our family member. This product gives us peace of mind knowing we will know quickly if something goes South. I have recommended it to other families who are in similar situations. There is one change that I would like to see in the product being able to set the response time from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. That way, if you are in a business meeting, involved in a sporting event, or do not have cell service, you would have a better chance of not missing a test.”
“I use BACtrack as a tool to track my progress with sobriety. The product has provided me the opportunity to give my friends and family piece of mind that I am succeeding in my sobriety goals. I would recommend this device to anyone who wants to show their loved ones they are serious about taking the needs stepped to remain sober.”
“While I love that you can make regular schedules for tests it can be difficult/tedious to alter if something comes up and you need to remove just for a day or a test or two that day.”
“App does not stay logged in and has no means of saving your password.
This requires you to have a method to have your password handy right away if you have a scheduled test you need to make before the time expires.
Frequently fails to record a test right as as you start a test.
This results in you needing to repeat a test 2 times (and on rare occasions 3 times) in order for it to record.
If you are in an area with low cell coverage, good luck.
If my life depended on this working and I used an Android phone, I would find something else.
More concerning- I reported some of these issues and found the next day that the schedule had been altered slightly by a few minutes. I have no idea if this was a coincidence, or what, but, it convinced me that I could not write this review until my obligation to use this system was completed.”
“At first I was resentful. After a while and the acountability set in and I got my routine down. I learned that I really needed this as a car interlock did not work.”
