I use random monitoring and it has kept me choosing sobriety because of this accountability-I couldn't of made it to 6 months with no relapse without it!

I have a breathalyzer in my truck that I am required to have to drive called intoxalock. I use my bactrack to make sure I am sober everytime if I have drank, before attempting the interlock device, because if I blew in the interlock device and had a high bac I would get locked out of my vehicle.

Just with any electronic device, this has a couple hiccups every now and then. Usually it is an error that is quickly fixed by powering the device off and back on. The other is it will go dead without warning, so I just charge once a week and no more problems.

BACtrack View is the layer of accountability I need. Its easy to add people in your sober network or family member who wants to know I'm sober. The hardware and software themselves are easy to use as well. Definitely would recommend!

At the time of my writing this I am now 7 months sober. With the help of AA and bactrac I also still have my wife. I have tried to get sober many times before but bactrac keeps me honest and allows my wife to know I'm still on Trac. See what I did there.

Everything was good for the nearly two years I used this. I had one false positive that I suspect was a result of sunscreen getting in the mouthpiece. My only suggestion, and I suggest it strongly, is that customers have the option of having a second, backup device. If a device was lost or malfunctioning, it could cause serious real world problems for a user. A backup device would go a long way to prevent undeserved consequences.
