“BACtrack view has been a critical part of my recovery journey. It is easy to use and provides me with an added layer of accountability I needed. I would recommend it to others.”
“I have been using Bactrack for about three months now and it seems to give a pretty reliable reading. I do have to say it has helped me keep myself accountable with my drinking.”
“I have been using Backtrack for about four months, paying $99.99 for the Plus plan, which is quite expensive. Unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. The customer service is unprofessional, unable to provide solutions, and unwilling to engage in resolving issues. Instead, they merely send unhelpful articles.
Over the past few months, I have reported two false results to customer service. In one instance, I received a positive result indicating high alcohol consumption, followed by a negative result (0.00) just one minute later. This inconsistency conflicts with the report. Despite reporting this bug, customer service refuses to acknowledge it as a problem, offering absurd excuses such as brushing my teeth, using perfume, or drinking kombucha affecting the results. I clarified that I did not do any of these things, yet the false results persisted. Customer service provided no real answers, only unhelpful articles from a poorly written script.
I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially if you need to use it in court as I do. It is very expensive, the reports can be inaccurate, and the app does not work correctly. It often requires uninstalling, reinstalling, or clearing the cache due to constant issues. Additionally, the customer service is unhelpful.”
“Returned another device to switch to BACtrack. Offers very similar options than other devices that cost 3x the amount. Also, no fee for the device up front. Support is helpful and available.”
“At first, it was frustrating because I have never had to blow in a breathalyzer before. It was very picky with my breathing. After about 2 months, I got the hang of it.”
