My son was so excited for this book - he is always asking what the flags look like for different places. The illustrations are great and I love that it also includes additional information about each flag so he'll be able to keep learning for a long time.

My grandson is flag obsessed. A flag book was high on his short Christmas list. This one is great since it features flags of the nations (which he already has memorized), but also state flags for some countries which represent new material for him. There are great descriptions of the flags which in time will help him understand why different countries have the flags they have. Overall, an excellent product for the flag obsessed.

Chidlren love to use the flags with the maps, make their own flags, speak the language of the country the flag represent. The tops of the flags are very sharp. We usually break them off.

This is a wonderful book about the flags of the world, very comprehensive and up to date. The colors are accurate and information about flag history, history of the country, and a way to categorize flag designs very useful to adults working with children in education. Our older Montessori preschool children can use much of the information on their own.

This is a great little resource. Easy to use, child-friendly, and filled with interesting info. We have cards of all the flags of the world (with no info but the continent and country's name), but that has led to wondering why they're different and what they mean. This book is perfect to help with those questions and to get a little bit deeper understanding of each country.

This was just the book we needed to satisfy the curiosity of our Master Year children. Flag work is always one of the most popular activities in the classroom and now the children can discover for themselves why certain elements are used on flags. There was even an explanation for Canada'a Provincial flags!
