“Storytelling, rightly so, is not about directly telling children what, and what not, to do. Rather, it is part of the human environment and, along with the physical environment, allows the Montessorian to affect the child indirectly. The book is a vital tool in the toolbox of indirect Montessori guidance.”

“These well described creative stories can be told in Montessori classrooms as a starting point along the Montessori Spectrum and Cosmic education to create the sense of wonder in the children for the whole Universe. There are stories applicable for all age levels. I would highly recommend the book.”

“This book was written from experience and wisdom, with great enthusiasm. I appreciate that this is not simply an opinion piece, but a well-researched description of storytelling's power in the classroom, and that there are both general and specific techniques explained in a usable way. It is wonderful to have a set of the Great Stories that has been respectfully revised to support more recent findings about the Universe, the Solar System, Life, Human life, etc. I also appreciate having a handy volume of *all* our stories, so that I can refresh myself on the details of a given math lesson story or language lesson story without having to pull out the album.”
