Our 4-year old twins are loving this game. It's fun for all of us, they easily understand the object of the game, and the rules are simple. I love that it's flexible enough to accommodate more than four players, that there's no competition over who gets the most fruit, and that my boys sympathize with the raven and want her to get some fruit, too! I wondered if I'd regret spending so much for it, but I'm very satisfied. We've tried several board games over the past year, and this one is the best.

I love playing this game with my children. The materials are realistic and beautifully made. The only thing that is disappointing is that the baskets are not very sturdy and have slowly come apart. Otherwise, I love this game.

The four and five yr. olds in my Montessori classroom play this once a month on Friday afternoon, along with another similar game. They switch tables and games as the groups finish. The children love it. They have to work together because either everyone wins or everyone loses. The game creates instant group solidarity. The small baskets are fragile, but the children have taken good care of them and none of the fruits or cards has been lost (yet). I rate this high for four to six year olds.
