“Fun to build. Interesting information in the instruction booklet like what certain pieces were originally designed to be used. For example, the cherry blossom leaves are actually Lego frogs. Two choices to build with green leaves or pink cherry blossoms.”
“Very fragile and falls apart easily. I want to use tape to keep the trunk together. It was very difficult to see the brown on brown diagrams. You need a flashlight. The trunk falls apart with the slightest pressure. I had to rebuild the trunk over and over 5 times and it’s still not right. The vines fall off and you have to redo them each time the trunk breaks. There are not enough green leaves or green flowers to cover the green leaves.”
“Very disappointing set. The set claims to have over 800 pieces. It seems that over half the pieces aren’t even usable. Several hundred 1x round pieces are just dumped in the pot. Another few pieces are the pink frogs things. Can only use the blue or the green. Very cheap looking when finished. Not a $50 piece….at best it’s a $25 piece. If I had to do over again I would not purchase!”
“I love it! I wish there were more lego bonsai trees i could get. I love the pink frogs, it was definitely the reason i bought it. The tiny brown frog was a surprise and made me extremely happy. I may be easily amused but this was easily the best part of my week and its only Monday.”
