“Now I know what you're thinking, "Why would a grown man wanna build a Lego set?" And that is a question with a million answers Helen. You don't see me asking my ex wife why she would leave me over a text message.Anyways, if you're looking to just have a neat little display for the coffee table so your apartment isn't as depressing this isn't a bad choice. It comes with the OG bonsai tree kit and an alternative cherry blossom option, both look pretty good in all honestly. I personally prefer the cherry blossom kit because it's more lively. My build time is about an hour and a half, but I was admittingly drinking and enjoying some smooth jazz while doing it to help unwind after a long work week. There's just something therapeutic about the botanical collection in my opinion. So yeah, this isn't a bad Lego kit. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Enjoyed this little tree. There is value here with multiple leaf colors to change based on your mood or season. The base is stylish and sleek, and the filler discs add a nice touch. Looks good on a shelf.”
“We enjoyed assembling it. However the base of the tree keeps coming loose and we have to remove the small pieces surrounding it to try and secure the trunk again. I love the idea of interchanging the leaves and cherry blossom pieces.”
“Legos were a staple of my childhood and I put them down about 10 years ago. This bonsai was my first foray back into legos and it was the perfect re-entry. Came with a brick tool so I don't have to bloody my fingernails (although years of training kept me using my hands) and it looks great on my desk!”
“Las ramas y hojas del bonsai pueden ponerse en diferentes posiciones. Se le pueden cambiar las hojas para que parezca que floreció en alguna temporada del año. Es entretenido armarlo y el resultado final es muy bonito. Será un elemento decorativo que todas sus visitas notarán.”
