“I built the Technic Excavator, really had a blast doing it, I thought I'd found a great new activity. Having a Porsche 911, I was looking forward to putting RSR Racing kit together.. Opened it up tonight to get started, very disappointed to see all the parts in big unnumbered bags....totally disappointed....I can't imagine enjoying searching through random bags of parts to find the pictured parts to assemble in sequence. Returning it and I'm gun shy about ordering other kits Technic kits not knowing whether the parts bags are numbered or identified in some way.”
“This was a gift for my son (and of course, for me too). He is an avid Lego builder. We've done many of the other Technic car sets. What we found more challenging about this one was the bags were not numbered. This meant we needed space/organization to have all the pieces out at once. It doesn't make the build any more difficult, just a pain to have the room to lay all the pieces out. We love the car though.”
“At first I was taken aback by a baker’s dozen of bags unnumbered. But then I found the added challenge very enjoyable. Entire table of plastic bowls filled with parts from each bag. I did not sort, just put them in bowls and started building. Extra time wading through each bowl to find the right parts was very enjoyable.”
“So many pieces. Once you get organized and find a rhythm, it moves pretty well. Don't think or look ahead, be patient. Pay attention to each section.”
“Ive had to order parts for this kit twice now then wait a week or two to get them im waiting for parts now i just hope it's enough to finish it but it is a cool kit thats why i give it 3 stars”
