“What a nice model! The details are surprisingly thorough, it is almost museum quality. I had been looking around for a while for a battleship model that would realistically represent the scale attributes of a real Battleship, it has active throttle that allows slow scale maneuvers and turning. You need to be extra attentive to the scale realism, there are delicate small pieces that are easily broken.Another throughout design was the stacks are open for venting the hull compartment heat for the motors and battery. I did some pretty aggressive maneuvers and no incursion of water into the hull a few splashes landed on the top deck. I’ve already completed three cruises and all systems are working correctly. Using low rate you can cruise for a prolonged period. At high rate and full speed you might want to consider another battery or two. One note to Motion RC, my model came with a European style plug, it wasn’t an issue since I had other LiPo chargers in my arsenal and European converter plug. Also modelers, although not really necessary you might consider Velcroing the battery, since the ship is so large it’s not an issue for balance, its just to keep the battery from sliding from one side to the other. As for the price, yes it’s a lot of money, but for the size and realism I think it’s worth it. Also, like stated before, the scale and detail make this working model worth displaying in any setting, as a fireplace mantelpiece to the office.”
