“Did not work well for me and did not activate the high voltage tail servo, setting would randomly change on my tail servo, now I see why this is not recommended for the 800 scale heli may be a little outdated for the newer set ups and electronics”

“Tried an ebay knock off of this product. Would not work properly out of the box. Return cost was not worth the effort. Broke down and bought the beast. Plugged in and worked as it should. Took a bit to program, but once I understood the steps it went very quickly and works very well. That says alot, having just returned to the hobby with a trex 450 fbl, how the hobby has progressed”

“I haven't finished the build yet, so am still to use this particular unit. However I've own at least 8 of these and they are very good. Easy to set up and programme. You don't need a computer with you. It's all done with lights and your radio gimbals. I've been using Beast X for years and find them very reliable. I've never had a problem to date so I do recommend them.”

“I own 4 Heli’s using the Plus & Ultra versions; the newer Ultra versions have a faster processor, more memory and enhanced telemetry improvements that can only mean more future functionality. So far, both Ultras are flying, read the new Ultra instructions; some ports change depending on whether your using telemetry or not.”

“I had a MicroBeast Plus die after only a couple hours of use and had to replace it. It appears the Ultra version replaces the Plus version with a faster processor, more memory and new features to address telemetry from many different sources. The setup was exactly the same as the Plus version for now; I expect as the new functions become usable; the Ultra version will have different firmware. So far, the Ultra is working Fine and less expensive than the Plus version if you can find one. My Ultra is running the PRO firmware!”
