“This model is absolutaly incredible, everything on it looks stunning and it is quite cheap for the number of pieces. It is quite big and you will need some room to display it. The build expirience was amazing, everything fit together nicely and was very enjoyable, there were 0 missing pieces, something that is a common problem in of-brand Lego, but Cobi nailed it! 100% would reccomend to anyone who is interested in WW2 and Lego”
“I've Been Building Lego for well over 14 years now, and i was fed up with them, as a military vehicle enthusiast I have always been upset with Lego on their policy with military vehicles / weapons. When i found COBI later last year i was instantly hooked, the quality and ease of their sets is astonishing, and personally, id rate them higher than lego.Although sometimes the much larger sets (2000+ peices) could possibly be missing a peice, the are easily replaceable on their website.10/10 would buy again”
“I highly recommend anyone who's into realistic historic building models to pick up this set. Not only is it a beautiful display piece but it is fun to put together. The price is well worth it, especially with the discounted price I purchase it at, and a great deal compared to other leading brands. There are a few minor issues I encountered ( The connection on the larger 8 turrets varies in terms of friction, one of them being very loose as to the point of being un-posable, the front-most 2 propellers are unable to turn, as they are essentially touching the hull, a few pieces in the rear near the propeller come loose easily with force, and a few more issues) but they were mostly nitpicks and don't take away from the overall building process and experience. I will say that this was much larger than I had anticipated, which I was more than happy about, so you will have to allocate a decent amount of space to display this beast. In my opinion, Cobi is one of the best alternatives to Lego and they do an excellent job at making accurate historical models, and this is one of their better sets (not to say that any of their sets are bad), so if you own other Cobi models and enjoyed them, I implore you to buy this, and if you have no experience with Cobi and enjoy building Lego sets, I HIGHLY recommend taking a dive into their wide assortment of gems.”
“Just finished this build and I'm very happy with it. Took me about 3 days of on and off work. Detail is amazing and I love the printed pieces instead of decals. Had no missing pieces. The instructions are solid but you really have to pay attention in places. There are a lot of small pieces and some of them are a bit challenging so I wouldn't recommend for younger kids. My 7 year old helped me in places but I did the majority of the build. I'm likely going to super glue some of the smaller, exterior pieces in place as they can be easily knocked off and lost. This is especially true of the quad guns on the front and the single guns on the corners. The only way this product could have been better is if they had modeled some of the interior spaces so you could remove the deck and see them. They've done this for their most recent addition (JFK's PT-109) so there is hope they'll do it for future builds as well! Also Cobi is no longer listing this product so if you've been on the fence about getting it do it soon before the price skyrockets.”
“Super fun build. Easy to follow pictured instructions. Pieces separated into numbered bags for easy build. Very detailed model. Comparable with legos.”
