“I've got two of the Cobi battleships so far, and this aircraft carrier is maybe the best of the three. My only complaints (which are very minor) is that the outboard screws are too close to the hull and cannot turn. It looks pretty ok and isn't that noticeable though. I would have liked (and paid more) for more planes to park on deck. Everything else is fantastically well done!It really is a 5 star model. My complaints are minor. Everything is really great. This is definitely a display model. The pieces stick very well and some would be difficult to take apart.”
“This is the best Cobi battleship set I have completed. It has great detail and a very strong design. Just by the nature of the ship, it is a lot more interesting than the Yamoto and Bismarck models I have. One thing I love about Cobi is they are not shy about using lots of bricks to make a really strong model whereas Lego is a lot more efficient and in my opinion they compromise strength as a tradeoff. Another thing I really appreciate about Cobi is their dedication to the historical theme focused on World War II. CV-6 was a venerable ship for the USN in the Pacific war and this set is a great tribute to that service. A good model to add to your collection.”
“I was skeptical at first, because I've had other non-Lego kits that were just awful, but I have to say that I really enjoyed putting this one together. And the result is great. Really solid, good detail, all around just a good looking ship. I would have given it a five star rating if the cost were a little lower. I'd say 4.5 stars out of 5, but they don't let you do fractions of a star. Overall, took about 12 hours to put together but I was taking my time to make sure I had the right pieces.”

“I ordered this package which arrived on time and was fun and great building it. While I was building it I figured out that a piece was missing. I then had to go on the cobi website and order a replacement piece that took 2 months to arrive from Poland. So overall I think this is three stars because the product had good value but a piece was missing which was annoying.”
