“Very nice model which resembles the actual WW2 Mustang. The colours and quality is very nice. Be it on landing mode or flying mode, the plane looks great.Recommended for WW2 and Mustang fans as this set will be end of line soon.”
“I bought this under protest because I figured Cobi was just another Lego knockoff but I was WRONG!My only criticism is the minifig and they’re not that bad just unique. But everything else is spot on! I love the way it felt and looked in the end. Here are a few points:A. It arrived in a beautifully boxed package, if I saw this in the store I would pick it up and check it out. I point this out, because I have purchased military brick sets before and they often look cheap or arrive in plastic bags. Cobi is not a Lego knock off it is Cobi.B. Instructions are clear, well marked, and organized. I would recommend for younger builders having an adult or a second set of eyes to help though.C. The bricks snap together with ease, unlike other brands (quan guan and megabloks) these feel comfortable to handle. They pop together nicely.D. Plenty of unique bricks that create a smooth look. Very satisfying!E. It’s not just a knockoff; other brands will try to emulate Lego (Lepin) or compete (megabloks) but Cobi is in a category of its own focusing on history. They have a whole line of historical sets including the Titanic, Apollo lander, tanks, and fighter planes. I’m so impressed by the selections. Plus, it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. They are reasonably priced and I can see myself buying more - in fact I bought three more after this!In the end, when I build a Lego set it is only a matter of time until I pull it apart to build anew - sometimes in the same day but no more than month - with Cobi I still have them on display. They’re just beautiful builds!”
