“After initially being very happy with such an affordable option, my first flights with this revealed some issues. 1. It's not as bright as the higher priced options 2. It comes on too soon and is not very progressive. To fix the first issue I painted the inner rear fuselage with silver chrome spray paint that has a reflective quality and that made it more visible. 2. Fixing the second issue involves ditching the Y cable and plugging the after burner in an open channel and then Mixing throttle to (in my case Aux 3). Playing with the offset on the mix screen and the servo travel adjust got my after burner light more realistically coming on at half throttle and getting full bright at full throttle. I also like that you can demonstrate the light without having the motor blowing in your face to show it to someone or to adjust it. Still a huge bargin at $15 and super easy to install.”

“Best bang for the buck available to make your 80mm in runner look like it’s on full afterburner. These sold out so quickly I fear the price may go up but would still be a bargain at twice the price. Oops. Hope motion doesn’t read this….”

“I’ll start with the good stuff the price is great the quality of les bulb appears great the overall design and quality is great. Function for the price it’s fine but not realistic no flickering etc should be setup on separate channel on receiver to come on at 50% throttle or preferred overall I’m satisfied. Install for me easy beginner probably not. Ok problems fatal flaw when bolting bulb to back of motor it requires a M3x8mm should be hex head. Lightning kit comes with 4 M3x4mm way to short obviously. Luckily I had some that worked but this could be a major aggravation that cost money to people being this is a specific kit it should come with proper hardware”
