“I pulled this unit out of a crashed rebel so that I could run some numbers on it. This is what I saw. I tested it with a 5s 3000mah 40c battery, and the stock 60-amp esc which is what I fly the plane with. The plane balances perfectly with this battery, by the way. My friend tested this unit in his plane and said it was only pulling about 65 amps. I have a test stand and when I checked it removed from the plane I saw 85 amps, 1583 watts and pulled 2 kilos of thrust, or 4.4 pounds! No wonder this thing is ballistic! Well, I'm not sure how that esc is holding up, but it does. Don't be afraid to push this unit, it can take it! Might consider an 80amp esc though!”
