“I bought 2 pairs of them because they are weak and flimsy. I really like flying my Corsair, but if it hits a hole or bump in the runway the gear shaft in inside will bend and it won't retract or extend anymore. I can usually get around 5 or more landings on a grass runway before one of them has to be replaced. Sometimes the motor will smoke from the binding. Unless I can find a suitable substitute I will have to keep buying them to fly my Corsair.”

“I bought left and right retract units to hold as spares in case I break one in the future. I fly off grass and my original units have survived 20 flights or so. They seem good quality and work perfectly every time- it is great to watch the 90 degree retracts function. The price is acceptable considering they are a part that may need replacing from time to time. Overall very pleased with the service from Motion RC.”

“I have broken a few of these. It doesn't take a very hard landing for the retract to collapse resulting in a cracked casing. The only consolation is the low cost compared to other brands. I would be willing to pay more for one with a metal casing.”

“These retracthousings are too weak even for smooth landings,a little hop after a smooth landing the gear will break,i ordered a new set gears and after 3 landings its broken again,i dont know what now to do”
