“I note all of the positive reviews, however my son and I did not have good luck with this kit. The foil side of the PCB has areas around the holes where the components are soldered. These square areas disappeared and were not there when we tried to re-solder a connection, or clean up one that needed to be better. There was nothing for the solder to bond to on the PCB to connect the components to!”
“I am building the kit now. The first problem was with the battery clip. It has three nut and bolt fasteners, and one of the nuts had no threads. It took a while and some strong magnification tot find that. Then they have tests that require and oscilloscope and a signal generator. I got the scope, but the only signal generator is kit built very limited. You can do without them, but it would be nice to know you might want to have theses extras. Also it's good to have and, know your way around a good millimeter. Products like these need more discerption. Often I find more information in the ratings.”

“Bought this for our grandson as a beginner project. It's not. It recommends having an oscope for tuning the inductors. This would be best served in a class room setting.”
