Engino STEM - Newton's Law Reviews

4.4 Rating 83 Reviews
The biggest issue is our box seems to be a missing bag of pieces. Several models in the instructions show wheels, yet we did not have any wheels in the box. We are missing enough that we are totally unable to build some of the models. The instructions also are not very clear, even for my husband happens to be an electrician. The pictures you are supposed to follow are tiny and you cannot see the detail of what you’re trying to do. I wouldn’t purchase this again.

I am using this kit to introduce basic Newtonian physics to 12 thru 16 yr olds. The projects are very useful in demonstrating how the various laws work. They are also useful in showing how to employ the applicable equations to predict outcomes of experiments. Note that the introductory material included in the booklet is very basic. It needs to be developed in more detail in order for STEM students, especially in this age range, to get a practical feel for Newton's laws and the associated math. The parts go together and come apart fairly easily. The project blue prints are easy to follow.

A bit difficult to remove interlocking parts.

Falsly assumed there would be enough materials to build all models, no, one at a time, then disassemble for the next. After building a few, i left the crash car built as that seems to demonstrate all of Newt's Laws

So far we love this STEM toy. We are doing a different concept each day. Our 7 year old likes to build them and my engineer husband likes to teach him the different concepts of Newton Laws :)

I love toys that get children off the screen and tv. It took him a couple of hours to get the first project done. Thumbs up!!!
