“The age is for 8 and up. Granddaughter was 3 months from turning 7, I took a chance, because she loves Science and creating and exploring. I recommend, but I recommend proper supervision at least for the first couple times they experiment. It needs double A batteries (you buy) and the child should be told the do's and do NOTS of electrical toys. (And, I wouldn't call this a Toy. If you want a Toy, keep looking.)”
“Great instructions! A fun learning toy! Watched 6-18 year olds sit down together and start building. First thing that they built together didn’t work, so we went back through the instructions together and found where they had left out a piece, then it worked! It taught them about following directions and evaluating a problem. A great idea!”
“Both my boys (6 and 8) love working on these circuits! They’re not super interested in me explaining the science behind it, but I’ll take their enjoyment as a success for now.”
“My 7 year old grandson loves this! But it wasn't long before one of the pieces broke (a small piece broke off). It didn't prevent the whole thing from working -- it actually all still works, but I'm wondering whether there is a way to get replacement parts? Thank you.I definitely recommend this -- a great learning toy and great fun too!”
