Snap Circuits Jr. 100 Experiments Reviews

Although it says ages 8 and above, i bought this for my four and a half year old who had finished the snap circuits beginner. I had to guide him with this beginners circuits as the circuits are a bit ,ore complex. But once he got the hang of it he did a few on his own. I still play with him with the more complex circuits. Overall, he loves this toy and spends hours playing with it.

We received the beginner kit as a gift for our nearly 5 year old and he fell madly in love with it. We decided to get this more challenging kit and he loves doing it with my husband. Yes, the sounds can be annoying. But learning a or science, specifically physics, seems to be a lot of fun for both of them!

My daughter is about to start first grade and turn 6. She really had fun putting these together with help from me. After she realized what could happen, she got curious and wanted to explore her hypothesis I like the problem solving and following instructions. We just gifted to her 8 year old cousin as well we loved it so much. This is added to our distance learning STEM center.

I got this for my 7 year old grandson. My dad is an electrician and I thought this might be something they could do together. Wasn’t sure my grandson would like it. He plays with the Switch, tablets, phones etc. HE LOVED IT! He was SO excited. He even problem solved why a board didn’t work and found his own mistakes. I’m getting more!!!!!

The instructions were easy enough for my 6 yr old son to comprehend, on his own, and he was so proud when the circuit was complete! Perfect item for a six year old, taking steps into learning STEM.

Snap circuits are an excellent intro to stem for kids-and this is a nice general starter kit. It’s not too expensive but has a wide variety of parts-it’s a nice intro to the concept before splurge if on the more expensive sets. It makes a great gift!

My 9yr old son and 6yr old daughter both love this. We let them do this on their own and provide very little help. If at the end it doesn't turn out we have them look at the picture and what they created and ask them if it looks identical. They end up finding out their mistake and fix accordingly and are so excited at the end when it works out especially knowing we really didn't help them, they did it on their own.
