“I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son after I saw he enjoyed playing with a friend's smaller set. There are numerous projects for him to build (radio, doorbell, flying saucer, alarms). The instructions are easy to follow for the build part so he can work on it independently, but there is also plenty of teaching information if an adult wants to help guide him through learning the electrical terms and concepts. The build part of this is a quiet activity but most of the resulting projects are NOT! :) Great value and entertainment for only needing two or four AA batteries!”
