“This is a great kit. I bought it for my grandsons. Instructions are easy to follow. The kit keeps it well organized. The reasons for not giving it 5 stars:- The oscilloscope software was written for Windows XP. Really?- It claims 750 experiments. That is a bit of a stretch. So many of the experiments are variations on a theme. Make a circuit. Move a jumper to change a function and it is counted as a separate experiment.”
“Great, great, great purchase! Can't say enough good things about this. It has so many activities, keeps my son's mind creating. Easy for him to do on his own; he's eleven.”
“It's an impressive assortment of doodads. My 10-year-old skipped the book and started putting together motors and a propellor, which shoots up into the air when the motor stops. Fun! However, the plastic propeller soon shattered, and it appears that the 3 of the sound modules are non-functional.There are numerous books included with the set, but the project book seems to begin with some pretty advanced projects right off the bat. I'd like a more thorough description of what the various connectors are for on the pieces, they aren't labeled as far as I can tell. Can't see this getting a lot of use in our household.”
