“I bought these for my 7 year old at Christmas. I hate to write early reviews only to find out my kids are bored of it 1 month later, but this one has staying power. My 5 year old daughter likes playing with them, although it's still too difficult to assemble on her own. I love that the book doesn't just come with instructions on different projects but a guide telling the user what each type of component does. Now my son is able to build his own circuits. What pushes this product over the edge to 5 starts is that the offer replacement parts free of charge. My son lost one part and broke two others the company shipped us replacement parts free of charge. This of course begs the questions of if the product is not durable enough. The circuits (the key component) are very durable. Two pieces of the fan module that broke, after my son experimented hurling the fan across the room, and the resistor broke when he stepped on it by accident. I am not sure I can blame the manufacturer, these things happen to toys that are loved to death.”
