“My 8-year-old loves this. He can create so many different circuits with it. It's pretty neat that you can hook it up to your phone and either use the speaker on the set or adjust the lights based off the volume on your phone. Great STEM toy!”
“Great product! I bought this item for my 11 y/o for Christmas. He's really grown out of playing with toys, so I thought I'd go the educational route. He and my 7 year old play with this CONSTANTLY, and get along while doing it! :-) I just ordered an add-on kit for his 12th birthday next week. My boys say they do Snap Circuits in STEM lab at school. I have been thrilled with this item!!!”
“I bought this for my son who is just getting ready to turn 6. He has shown a great interest in wanting to take things apart and learn how they worked from an early age. He's able to the circuits with a bit of guidance from me. Since he also loves music and lights this was the perfect starter set.Our neighbor's son who is 9 has been able to put together circuits with just a small correction here or there, and I think that is a great age range where most kids will find the right level of challenge for this discovery kit.The other nice thing is the customer service from Elenco. It turned out that one important piece from this kit was damaged and wouldn't work. It was a simple process to order the replacement part free which I found encouraging. This company will do what is right if any pieces are missing or damaged.Overall this is a great learning set and in my opinion suitable for children under 8 if they are inquisitive and like putting things together.”
