“I thought this would be an amazing project for my 17 year old son to do for his engineering class since school went to online and they dont get the hands on experience due to COVID.. Well, this is very cheap thin plastic and the axle snapped before he ever got a chance to put it together.. Really disappointed that I wasted $45.00 on something he cant even finish and will now have to spend more money to get him another project for class... :(”
“The toy was really cool and it was awesome to watch my little 10 year old brother build and learn how to code and stuff. The box was a bit broken and it was kinda cheap, but the toy was great!!”
“I bought this as a present for a 9 yr girl really into science/tech. This was one of the few coding toys I could find where you didnt have to hook the toy up to a computer/iPad. The original build was great, fairly straightforward instructions. Love the reward of getting the wheel set to how she wanted the robot to move. About 2 months in with frequent play, no quality concerns so far. Age 9 was okay for this toy. Might work for a really detail oriented/patient 8 yr old. Dont go younger than that unless you expect an adult to do most of the work (which really defeats the purpose).”
“My son loves this. The problem is that the pieces easily break. He'd finally completely put the whole thing together, but when applying a bit too much pressure, the wheel broke. So, with a broken wheel the entire thing becomes useless. Actually, with any one small broken piece the entire thing becomes useless. I'd advise to spend your money elsewhere. With the low quality of this product, it should be half of the price it is.”
“I'm honestly disappointed in this. I bought 2 for my boys and after they finally got them put together (it took a while) they broke so easily. Next time I will spend the extra money on something more sturdy.”
