“I have replaced two of these retracts on my A10 because the plastic housing tends to break during a rough Landing. When the Plastic housing cracks, the nose wheel will have a lot of play making it difficult to steer down the runway in a straight line. It would be better if they would make the housing out of aluminum.”

“The materials this nose gear are made out of are extremely weak. The mounting area is also weak. This is a known issue and really needs to be resolved. The A six is an extremely well-built aircraft and flies like it’s on a rail. Too bad whoever designed it didn’t step up and put a good set of gear in it. Modelers will pay the extra money they just want a quality product.”
