“As a stand alone product this retract is as good as any other and I would rate as a 5 star. However, when installed in the Freewing A-10 the plastic housing of the retract is not strong enough to hold up to the average wear and tear of less than perfect landings or grass landings. I have had to replace this retract many times because the plastic housing cracks in the same moon shape pattern after several landings that are acceptable landings but just not greased landings. The retract design for this plane should include a metal housing to withstand the weight of this plane. Love the overall service and value from MRC.”
