“I really love this jet! Great value for the $$. Tons of fun to fly. This is my 4th plane and 1st edf jet. it's a good platform to get into ducted fans and the f-18 is my favorite fighter. good quality for the price point. assembly was pretty straightforward and easy. setting the neutral position of the elevators can be tricky - i had my model balanced at 65mm (center of the 60-70 they suggest) and i ended up having to trim my elevator almost all the way up for level flight. Going to try balancing at 70mm and see how it does should be better. Great plane highly suggest!”

“Went together in about 30 minutes, first a couple of points, set the control throws up per the instructions, and dont screw up the CG. It is a bit underpowered so stick with a 4s battery, if your brave you can hand launch it, but get it trimmed first.”

“Of all the 64mm Freewing jets I’ve owned (all of them) this is the best. With the stock 12 blade 4S power unit it’s a perfect trainer, gets to around 50+ mph and flies like an arrow. Now with this 4S 64mm 12 blade EDF I found on E-Bay it rocks!!!I use a 70 amp ESC, the unit puts out 65 amps, sounds great, and puts out almost 4 lbs of thrust. Finally the vertical is great, top speed is 80+ mph and I get 3 minutes on a 4S 2200 55C. It will hold an Admiral Pro 4S 2500 too. I use 60% aileron travel and 70% elevator travel..... both with 45% expo. With 3 coats of Min-Wax Hi Gloss Poly, it looks like fiberglass. I’m going to send Derek at Motion one of these EDF units so someone can show Freewing and they can make a 64mm unit like this one. And it was only $28.00 . Anyway the plane rocks....”
