“This small EDF plane is light weight, portable and fast, I had to go even lower than the recommended throws, I’ve been flying with a 3S-1500mAh battery for around 4min without issues and a lot of fun. Thigh canopy space for a receiver with stabilizer, plan to do it in the future.”
“I ran across this model while surfing the web and I just had to get it I wasn't expecting much for the price however it turns out I was pleasantly surprised if it will built flying wing with a authentic history that goes back to World war II”

“This is a great flying little jet. I suggest not choosing it for your first jet, as it's extremely fast and a little squirrelly on hand launch. But as your second or third jet, it's a great plane. My advice is:(1) have somebody else hand launch it the first couple times(2) give it a good heave with about 30 degrees up angle(3) in addition to the 2mm elevator up on full thrust, program your radio with a momentary switch that gives it another 2mm up, to be used for the first few seconds right after launch(4) put some high visibility yellow on the bottom side, similar to how the Luftwaffe used yellow early in the war to avoid friendly fire. This little guy is EXTREMELY fast and you may easily lose orientation (I did - recovered thankfully).”

“Great bang for the buck! The L.15 is extremely easy to assemble. I equipped mine with landing gear, as I only have a dirt field containing many small pebbles from which to fly. With a 1300/3s LiPO battery positioned as far back as possible so the strap just catches the front of the battery, the CG was very slightly in front of the recommended position. A bigger battery might be a problem CG-wise. Without the landing gear this is probably not an issue -- The gear adds quite a bit of weight to the nose. For the first flight I set the elevon rates at about half the recommended low rates with 50% expo. Acceleration is quite impressive and the tracking was very straight! Even so, there wasn't quite enough elevator to pull the nose up and take off within the confines of my runway. After adding some elevator throw the second attempt at flight was successful. Once in the air this little speedster is really in its element. Being so small and so very fast it takes constant maneuvering to keep it in sight. I can only imagine how quickly it disappears without the drag of the landing gear! The color scheme has very poor visibility. It definitely wants brighter colors. Still, this little beauty is a blast to fly -- exceptionally smooth, highly maneuverable, and enjoyable to see in the air.The landing speed seems quite fast but the rollout is straight and true. This was the case in spite of the small nosewheel bouncing over pebbles. After the first flight I upped the aileron rates to about the recommended low rates and increased the elevator throw slightly, too. The second flight was even more fun with a shorter takeoff roll, and higher roll rate. Also, the landing flair was better, which allowed for a slower touchdown speed. Surprisingly, no trimming was required -- she flew straight and true. This inexpensive little hot rod is truly a hoot to fly. It is a real bargain. The diminutive size makes it easy to store and haul. The 3S batteries are inexpensive. It is suited to pilots with fairly high skill levels -- definitely not beginners. Younger eyes would be a great help. I wish I had some!”
