This plane is amazing. It can go fast if you want, but it glides about as well as other gliders I've flown. It has great aerobatic capability. The scheme makes orientation somewhat difficult, I recommend spraying some yellow under the wing tips to keep it scale and be able to tell which way's up. The build was very easy, and the plane holds up to grass landings very well. I recommend landing in shorter grass if you can. Overall, this is a great airplane and the quality is amazing for the price.

I just maidened this girl with about 12mph winds. It sank a bit on launch, but I gunned it and she took off like a gem! Flew on a 2200mah 3s. I think the 1800 3s would be much better. Was a little over-weight. Got her in a tail wind and she screamed (sounds fantastic)! Elevator is a bit spongy, so careful with too much expo on elevator. Ailerons are very touchy. Overall, my favorite EDF I have flown so far. Much better than my 64mm F-18.

Good quality, very quick, very agile. The only thing you have to know is that the plane goes on the nose during take off or go around. If you decide to go around use not full power or pull hard elevator up. After a good F8 and a very good F105 this plane is fantastic.

Holy Toledo does she go!!! My 1st EDF and I just did the maiden with her this morning. Sure and stable!...You must watch the video the Pilot Ryan does. She will drop a bit at launch so toss her a little more up and be quick on the up elevator. Just remember she is just as nimble as she is fast so don't over correct. Also she will slow down nice and stable and has a great glide. Leave your self plenty of runway to land. If you have ever landed an Eflite Opterra then its a very close comparison. Thanks Motion RC and Freewing!!! another great plane!

If you like edf's but also like planes like the Swift and the Komet, then this is the perfect choice for you. It hand launches effortlessly, using full power. It's fast, but like the Swift, it can slow down to be more of a park flyer. I use the 3s 1800 and it easily gives four minutes of flight time. It handles 10-15 mph winds like a champ and who doesn't like a belly lander when it's windy. You will luv this plane if you like flying, at all.

I haven't flown it yet but it should be virtually identical to the Durafly Komet, I suspect, since it has the same designer! Anyway this thing goes together in absolutely no time!! It comes in a compact box, each part wrapped and nestled in foam. The foam parts were all perfect, with a slight bit of flash here and there, and were painted very nicely. The pushrods were already installed and centered, a very nice touch. Here's the torturously tedious assembly process:a) remove 4 foam parts from the box, and a CF rod, and a tiny bag with the antenna and a tube of glue (breathing heavily)b) glue the fin on (OMG, the humanity)c) insert the rod into the fuselage (this was so difficult I almost passed out)d) pick up a wing, and in one deft maneuver you (1) insert it onto the CF rod, (2) insert the wire into the fuselage, (3) apply some glue to the wing root. Then press it together. The wing fits perfectly and lines up with no gap. Its enough to make you want to go jump off a bridge.e) Repeat with the other wing. Because, there are two. Check your pulse.f) Sit around for 30 minutes wondering what the hell you're going to do now - because you're DONE!Well, at least that's what I did.Oh yeah, you need to get a battery and receiver and bind it. The model uses elevon mixing, so plug in the two wires to elevator and aileron on turn on the elevon mixing function on your radio. If you don't have that function, you may as join a monastery and start contemplating your navel. OmmmmmmmmmI would advise pilots to use a little differential (if your radio can do that) to help with turning, since this model doesn't have a rudder (and doesn't need it). Also keep the control throws really small until you get used to it. Its a fast model and its going to be very sensitive. Expo is handy. I decided not to order the landing gear because it looks kind of silly. The model comes with covers which you can remove to install the gear.
