I now have 18 flights on my Banshee. I also have a very nice flying eFlite Havoc 80 and the Freewing Avanti along with several other EDF's. It's ridiculous but the Banshee really is the best flying EDF I've ever owned. I'm mostly flying without landing gear so I hand launch and land on grass. It's not really very friendly to hand launch because there is no good hand grip location. I have to launch with 2 hands and that means my hands are off the transmitter. I am flying with a Flex Aura Lite stabilizer and this is almost essential for a one-person hand launch. The Aura has a launch assist mode that keeps the wings level and the plane on a 30 degree climb until you move the sticks. And this plane is smooth! And quiet. I practice jet aerobatic routines and the Banshee can do knife edge, cubans, double loops, humpty bumps, shark fins, square loop on corner, and virtually every other maneuver. It does not have excess power but it has enough. It is a good EDF

WOW!!!!!! 64mm tons of funUsed a 8 channel spectrum as3x rec. u need it because of the reverse feature no way around it unless u change speed control unit.I used a 4 cell. 2500 50c admiral. Used the ch marks under wing cg as if it was flying upright just a little nose down used half flaps for both take off and landing PERFECT 4 min. Flight at half speed no crazy flying.Upgrade landing gear look at reviews u will find the upgraded landing gear worth every penny $38.00 from someone who bought it same setup just push them on

Great looking and flying plane, but it does not have enough power/speed to get an authentic feeling/impression of flying a jet.

An excellent and affordable option for getting into 4S EDFs. The model is beautiful, well put together, and very easy to assemble. It has plenty of speed and maneuverability on a 2500 mAh pack. With some mixed flying and a couple high speed passes I get 5 min out of a 2500 mAh pack with enough left for one or two go arounds. The high vis color scheme makes it super easy to see in the sky and the fan has a great sound to it at all speeds. And it has a fifth channel for flaps and comes with reverse thrust? It’s an absolute steal. As always, take your time with setup, do proper wiring management, check CG (CG marking on the wing is spot on), follow pretty much everything in the manual front to back and you won’t have any issues. The recommended rates in the manual are pretty good as is, high rate has plenty of throw, low rate gives more scale flying. Low speed flight is a bit spotty as the model is a bit on the heavier side but it’s manageable with the flaps. The flaps and optional gear make it pretty easy to take off from grass fields. It’s a bit of a bigger model so I’m not too keen on hand launching it but the take offs and landings with the gear in place are super smooth with a little practice. The optional gear and mounts are pretty sturdy and can take rough landings. It’s a jet so you’re gonna want to land it with a bit more speed; the reverse thrust is not really needed landing on grass but I’m sure it would be cool on a paved runway. It handles the wind pretty well but if you wanted to throw a gyro on it it would be rock solid. The only downside I’ve come across is that the servo arms and control linkages for the ailerons and flaps are exposed on the bottom side of the wing so I’d have to imagine belly landing could have the potential to break some of those parts. That being said I’m fine flying with the gear so it’s 5 stars all the way for me.
