“Great choice for first jet, really fun to fly and tracks clean without gyro. Looks sleek in the air, especially w/o landing gear. I am hand launching and first two attempts ended badly. Fuse snapped just in front of battery tray (weak point of fuse). Easy to repair with Gorilla Glue. ( I also inserted some carbon rod at the break point). You really need to throw HARD otherwise it will stall out. Review the "How to Hand Launch" video by Motion RC before you try it. Also make sure you have full aileron throw (per specs) otherwise you wont be able to correct fast enough (wants to roll on launch).Got the launches wired now. Middle part is a blast. Need to work on slowing it down to land!”

“This plane is very stable in flight considering I fly in 15mph winds without gyro. I had zero trim on it. what I will suggest is to get the proper CG I did add some weight to the nose by the front landing servo. The battery used besides the weights was a 50c 4s 2200mah lipo pushed all the way forward. maybe using a larger battery would work. Otherwise this plane loves to float very stable at landing and very rarely bounces.”

“The Banshee is a mini Avanti S, of which I have both colours, with the same handling and flying characteristics of the big brother. Put together with minimal effort and time, fits in the car boot easily without the need to fold the back seat. CG perfectly balanced with the Admiral PRO 2200mah 4S, throws to match your flying style with 20% expo on elevator and ailerons. “Maidened this Lil' Green Goblin in nice conditions here in So Cal. Took off and to my surprise She didn't need any trim. Never had that happen before so hats off to FW. She flew well with a rearward CG discussed on RCG. Very nimble and feels light on 4S 2700mah packs after ditchin' the hidden nose weight. Got the upgraded trailing link gear so landings were smooth with no bounce. Reverse thrust is a cool feature after touchdown. Fun little aerobatic Sport EDF and a nice addition to the fleet.”

“I picked up this jet for $189. It is a plug and play model. It comes with the 64MM EDF and 45Amp Esc built in. The fit and painted finished foam looks like a built-up model. The servos are digital and have metal gears. The EDF features reverse thrust for braking after you land on the runway.I have an F-15 and had an older model Habu. I was looking for an easier jet to fly and the reverse thrust on this plane was the hook for me. Why? Having graduated from props to jets I found that most of them have to be flown at a fairly high approach speed when landing so they don't stall. The problem with this is you touch down at a fast speed and if you don't have a long runway, you will run off. (Like with my older Habu and my F-15)Assembly was about an hour. I plugged in my receiver, programmed it, plugged in a 2300ma 4S lipo and I was ready to go.Flying for the first time it was stable and a little slower than my other jets. I have to say though that the reverse thrust worked well and saved me from running off the end of the runway. I flew it twice and the plane bounced each time. I know with some more practice I could avoid the bouncing, but I think I may change the tires to the no bounce type.One of the easier jets to fly but not like flying a slower or floating prop plane. If you can fly prop planes competently and want to transition to jets, this is the one.”

“The Banshee 64mm Sport Jet is a great buy. Flies awesome! Easy to assemble too. Decent power, but, not as fast as most 70mm Jet's.Tracks well down the runway. Gear is very strong and reliable. Colors are bright and easy to see in the sky. Has a very quiet fan. Great buy. Another Freewing winner.”
