“Initial upgraded landing gear just collapsed in a smooth landing. After recycling gear it started working again. 2 flights later, the gear failed to lower for a landing and had to crash land. Re-ordered and replaced complete nose gear and after 3 flights the 2nd retract lowered when it wanted to. Waste of $$ to replace nose gear as problem will repeat itself. So fat out of all my Motion RC planes, this plane has been my problem child and it is a shame because it flies flawlessly!!!!!”

“Compare this retract assy to eflite F-16. This is ridiculously light weight retract assy for the loads placed on it. Unless you do a butter smooth landing housing will crack. 2nd one I've had to replace now and am considering just scrapping the airframe out and writing off this POS FW F-16 even though the arctic camo is great.”

“If you look at the pictures below you will see that in the design of this gear on both sides has a manufactured hole colocated with the brass pivot sleeve of the forward landing gear. Since this pivot point absorbs all of the forward vertical loads upon landing, this sleeve should no be accompanied by a hole rendering it a weak point under load. In the attached. Pictures there is a new and old housing to compare. The cracks on each side pass through the manufactured hole. There should be a recall on these gear and new gear should be re-issued to all that have had to purchase this item.”
