“The nose gear works great but need more upgrade at the plastic mount because that's the weakest link. But the replacement cost is not that expensive. I am getting about 30 flight before it need replace. thanks”

“I purchased this nose gear hoping it would be a direct replacement for the poorly designed nose wheel on my HK Sky Sword. The screw pattern on this gear was different and so was the shaft size. I ended up putting the retract mechanism away for future projects and drilled the landing gear to fit the original retract on the HK SS. I had to trim the shaft on the retract bit otherwise it fit and worked perfectly. I knowingly purchased this knowing I could have to make modifications. All in all I’m very satisfied with it. Assembly was a custom fit for my application but I gave it very good anyway.”

“This is my 2nd upgraded nose gear. On the first one, the c clamp that holds the gear to the retract broke rendering a $22 piece useless...I rate the product Hugh but the engineering poor”

“The suspension gear (nose and main) for the F-16 are an excellent upgrade over the stock gear and will definitely soak up the bumps in most hard surface landings. The price is reasonable and they work well. My only concern is the C clip that attaches the strut to the retract sometimes comes loose and falls out. Replacing the clip (if you can find it) can be difficult. It may be easier to order another complete assembly and use the first one for parts. Overall an excellent upgrade for the F-16.”
