“I give this F-16 70 mm the best jet I've ever flown I fly this with no gyro and no expo I am that good. I fly this with a 5,000 milliamp 100 c battery. And I put this thing through the paces this thing flies like it is on rails I have 30 flights on it and it just keeps coming back for more I give this five stars plus.. I just want to say freewing keep up the good work I have not one bit of trouble out of this jet it tracks true on the ground and it flies like an angel in the air..”

“Requires a lot of Expo. Flew maiden on recommended low rates. Flew very well on 6s 5000. Goes vertical easily. Flew 2 batteries 2.5 min each. Remaining battery cells were in the 3.9v range. Fun flyer but I personally need to work up to full rates. Landing was smooth and easy but during taxi it wanted to tip over with slightest steering movements. Needs to slow way down on the ground before initiating any turns. I was on a paved runway.”

“Wonderful flier if you have mastered other 80 series jets like the T-33 and F-86. Not a first EDF. Wish it had flying stabilizers like the F-5. Elevators detract from the realism factor. Freewing has to do something about the decals. Lost one roundel and the refuel door outlines in flight”
“Has a larger than it is presence, love the sound, and flies very well. Holds a 4000 6s no problem. There is wing rock when flying in more than 10 mph winds like the Gripen 80mm but nothing excessive and may need a tweak of the cg to get it more locked in. Cross wind landings, in anything more than a gentle breeze, are challenging for this plane because the landing gear is narrow and has a tendency to tip over if youre not paying attention. Thankfully the missile pylons keep the wings from getting chewed up. Something I did to help with the squirrely ground handling was make a plywood brace for the front landing gear like how people do for the avanti and this has made it better. Overall I like the plane and dont have any buyers remorse, but if i could do it over again, i would kick in a few more bucks and go with a 80mm F5. They both come in a little fast to land, the f5 is faster in the air, and they both get about 3 and a half to 4 minutes on the same battery with spirited flying. But most important is that the F5 isnt nearly as squirrely on the ground and you would have to try hard to tip it on its wing.”

“First flight take off was a little hairy ... Had no expo and elevator was sensitive. Could not hear it as it went away and did far leg. Brought it down for a high speed pass. It screamed by whistling like the real thing ... with cheers!Landing was a little hard and on a dirt runway ... Landing gearbox actually broke in half leaving the foam and everything else undamaged. Reordered nose gear. Added 35% expo. Waiting for the wind to calm down.Decals were not applied well at factory. Decals from sheet did not seem very sticky so I added glue to them before applying.Overall very happy.”
