“The quality of Freewing has improved over the years and MotionRC has always been top notch. I am pleased with all aspects of this purchase, especially the main gear which is of supreme quality for the price of the model. The front gear is made of machined aluminum and is high quality all around, except in one place. This is the root cause of the gear collapses you hear about on this model. Fortunately it is easily fixable. The front gear has a weak point. There is a small pin that goes from the servo to the shaft of the strong machined aluminum gear. This is the weak spot. This pin is made of poor quality aluminum and is brittle. It will almost certainly break. Easy fix: get a cheap screwdriver or a steel pin of similar length and thickness and bam! High quality no-break gear!”

“I maidened mine at the ocean at low tide and it was one of those rare models that didn't require any trim! Not a click. I was shocked as I had my thumb at the ready to perform the usual few clicks here and there for a maiden. The flight was great, landing was easy peasy. Second flight was just as terrific. The gear isn't showing me any issues at all so far knock on wood. All-in-all I am thrilled!”

“I have enjoyed MRC products since 9/19/2014. This is the first time I was disappointed with quality. The quality of the paint job was awful. There was up to 3/4” of over spray on the wing and fuselage black camo paint. Of course I will fix it but I shouldn’t have to fix something that basic. Every other plane I’ve gotten has had a quality paint job, especially the new releases. MRC, you have to clean this up or you are going to loose market share.”

“This bird is clean and new version has changed the game with the added full stabs. Now it flys as it should and withe mixes used is closer to the incredible characteristic you’d expect from an F16. Only complaint is the items located with inadequate glues. (Double check everything) I found low amount of adhesive and loose motor mounting plastic. No worries as easy to add. This was true on my first v3 as well. After flying these I’m excited these are in my hangar and get a lot of inquiries on its abilities. Great job Freewing.”
