“When I bought this jet back in November I had worries about grass field ops. The jet itself is very high quality and feels very solid. The first flight was off the grass and I went ahead and pushed the throttle to full and about 2 seconds later I was airborne. I was amazed 1 because it took off 2 because of how scale the take-off looked. Here I am a few months later writing this review and I have about 15 flights on this amazing jet. It's super fast, super stable, and super fun to fly and it comes with me every single time I go flying. This was also my "first" real EDF, I have had habu's and other hand-launched jets but this was my first one with retracts and a presence in flight. I just pre-ordered the new FA-18C and can't wait to get that one in the air right next to my F-16.”

“Love this jet! This is my first 6s powered jet. Running Roaring Top 35c 5800’s and Pulse 6s 5500 shoves all the way to the back, just requires a little up elevator for level hi-speed flight. Easily getting 5+ mins with throttle management, and the batteries are barely warm. It is an absolute blast to fly and a great deal for the money! Great job Freewing!!”

“Fantastic airplane! Flies great, lands great, agile, fast, slow, this aircraft has range! Only downside is the nose retract that has had some issues, but there is a trick to it, before flight, push the strut forward, recycle the gear and verify that it comes down. “After the maiden, I feel even more happy about this plane. The first and second flights were great. The Speed itself was great and it will go vertical for quite sometime without stalling. After 4:00 (Lots of WOT) it landed perfect with 75% Flaps and 10% up Elevator. I also had a Elevator to flap mix of -50% for full flaps. For takeoff I use a 35% Flap and 5% Up Elevator. No Elevator Flap mix on takeoff. Stock CG with a Admiral Gyro Receiver up front. Gains all set to 15%. I am definitely surprised with those having gear trouble, as I went pretty fast into grass and one hard landing of all 5 flights, the gear is still in perfect condition. “Got this plane as a present and checked it over when it arrived. Unfortunately some stickers were a slight bit peeled. Even though this was not technically a warranty, Motion sent me a full decal sheet. I decided to change the power unit to 4S with a Admiral 4000mah and Tomcat 60A ESC because I don't want to fly 6S. **Make sure to use a 5A BEC* (Will cut out with all MG servos running). I have seen some people saying the landing gear bends, but I hope it will be fine. I suspect they may be on grass and having it bend. Have not flown yet but will be updating once it is maiden-ed.Thanks Motion!”

“I love the jet every aspect only complaint i have is the nose gear needs to be a lil beefier mine bent back just a lil bit on about the 3rd flight it still functions fine and hasnt got worse but it is bent”
